Description

Also known as “Punting Pole Bamboo” from its Asian heritage of poling boats. Culms are thick walled and straight, making them useful for many purposes. Under ideal conditions it can grow to 55′ tall and 2 ΒΌ” in diameter. Olive green, shiny, upright and full foliage from bottom to top when mature. Hardy to 18 degrees.

Wind tolerant with verdant, prolific cane production for windbreak or privacy/sound screening. Retains leaves and density well.

Bambusa tuldoides can also be potted for indoor use.
