JENNIFER YORK & JOE RUFFATTO – Owners
Jen and Joe are hands-on crew leaders of the Bamboo Sourcery team.
Jennifer, whose bachelor’s degree is in Environmental Education, has made educating the public about bamboo a priority, and she is equally committed to the sustainable stewardship of the beautiful land she grew up on. Jen is a kind and hardworking soul who has dedicated herself to helping her unique family business flourish in a socially and environmentally conscientious manner.
Joe is a skilled contractor with over 30 years of experience, available to Bamboo Sourcery customers for a consultation, installation, bamboo recommendations, maintenance, and more. He is particularly good at coming up with creative and cost-effective solutions to challenging projects. A self-taught bamboo expert, Joe is a practical and tireless advocate in helping homeowners and landscapers get the right species in the right setup to make their bamboo projects a success.
CRISTIE KILEY - Office Manager
Cristie is the one who will answer the phone when you call. Self-proclaimed plant nerd, Bamboo Sourcery allows Cristie to bring her passion of nature and skillset in customer service and business administration together. Cristie received a Bachelor of Science from UMass Amherst in Plant and Soil Science in 2011. Cristie is on a constant quest for knowledge of bamboo, in order to provide clients with the most informed bamboo recommendations possible.

JONAS ERIKSSON - Nursery Foreman
Jonas is our resident Swede in charge of keeping our bamboo flourishing! He works tirelessly on watering, fertilizing, and maintaining our entire bamboo selection. When he isn’t holding down the nursery fort, he enjoys spending quality time with his beautiful wife and daughter.
