Bambusa pervariabilis ‘Viridistriata’ – BMPV

Description

Stunning ‘Sunburst’ variety recently introduced from China. Similar to Bambusa pervariabilis but much more highly colored. New shoots are yellow with green stripes maturing to yellow/gold with varying dark green stripes. Branches are full and dense from ground to top, so branches must be trimmed regularly to show off the culms. Erect and tall with dense branches and delicate leaves.
