Description
***Note: Unfortunately, all Phyllostachys aureas are going into a gregarious flowering cycle, which means all cultivars of the species are dying off (until seeds are potentially formed and germinated). We are not currently selling it. NOTE: This is the case worldwide. If any nurseries are selling it, unless they have germinated new seed from flowers and started a new generation, what they are selling will eventually go into flower.
Glaucous blue culms with denser wax than usual.
A new cultivar arising from a seed of the flowering ‘Albovariegata’. The new culms have a thicker wax coating than the primary form and are a striking pastel blue. It is not as cold hardy.
