***Note: Unfortunately, Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens is going into a gregarious flowering cycle, which means the species is dying off (until seeds are potentially formed and germinated).  We are not currently selling it.  NOTE:  This is the case worldwide.  If any nurseries are selling it, unless they have germinated new seed from flowers and started a new generation, what they are selling will eventually go into flower.

This is a great bamboo to build with because of its excellent quality straight wood. Shoots are of superior quality for eating. Culms have powdery lime-green color with white node stripe, and it grows 35’ tall and 2” in diameter. Hardy to -10ºF.
