An excellent, deep green ground cover with a compact look, generally kept 3’ tall but can grow to 7’. Its wide leaves are squat and horizontally arranged on short branches giving it a pleasing decorative appearance. Slow spreading, shallow rhizomes are easy to control with a shovel, which makes this plant well suited for small gardens and low hedges. Best in shade or morning sun.
